we won't be laying them out until next Monday, this is like an actual class where the lessons are on a certain day, just the instructor hangs around all week to help where ever you may be in the process

Wow, everyone's blocks all look so awesome. I love seeing how they emerge from the starting fabrics. I'm itching to try one, but I have some WIPs that I need to finish before I buy any new fabric for a new quilt. I'm definitely bookmarking all these threads though, and I will be having a go at this later on!

Everyone your blocks are amzing. I just love doing this.
Cutebuns thanks so much. Whoever came up with the paper plates idea thank you. I makes transporting them easy and keeping them orgainzed. I am using a stilito to help guide them while sewing it really helps to hold onto those little tips. Also, using a wooden / bamboo presser at the machine and it is working great. I only iron press once I have the block all sewn together. Plus it saves on burning the fingers.
here are some of mine
the laying out part has me kind of worried too. but I still have bunches of blocks to make.
have a great day.

You are doing a great job!
One point, if you are sewing them completely together you will have a bunch of y seams, now for some that is okay, if you leave them in half, it will be straight seams all of the way.
