    ok cut the fabric at 2.5 strips? I have the using my 6 x 24 ruler with DH help.

    ok maybe I am looking at this all wrong......... am I suppose to only look for 1 thing as a repeat to count 6 side ways. I have 3 repeats of the blue birds I have 3 of the yellow birds I have 2 of the gray birds the width of the fabric?????

    IU wouldn't cut anything bigger than 3" with this print, you want to basically want to see in some just one color, if you get to much you won't get as much variation in the blocks.

    just one thing, so if it is the blue bird, stick with it, can you post a picture of the whole piece?

    Cutebuns, I am going to get a ruler later that will work.

    I have my repeats pinned, hopefully correctly. My repeat is a little more then 8.5. At what size should I cut my triangles?
