Oh, I like it much better with the lights spread out more. I hesitate but am going to step out with my highest love and admiration for your top. I only "see" a couple that I would change if it were me. I don't think the gradient would work as well as what you've done now because there would be to much dark at the bottom. Try it in paint program, I did that with mine and now I'm happier with my top.

    Big Hugs

The two blocks I would flip around

Please don't hesitate at all Sharon, I want this kind of help. I'll make those changes, plus maybe a couple more, and get a new photo out!

Now I'm putting it together and I feel like I'm losing blocks. I'm just going to keep going. I will see what happens.

It seems to shrink a lot with the seams, you figure the whole block isn't put together when you lay it out,

I still haven't found my border fabric yet, I will be using some grapes in it, I am hoping to dig up some green to match, I have no clue what I have laying around, and I spent a lot of yesterday rearranging my room,

I felt the same way. I got two rows sewn together yesterday and then I kept looking at my fabrics asking myself how I was going to make it bigger.

I posted pictures on my PDA, still a lot of cleaning and sorting and putting away to do, I feel like such a slob. I am a pack rat by nature and so there is a lot that I could probably get rid of, and say no to when people would like to give me bags of fabric, yeah sure, me turn down free fabric. not in this life time, maybe the next one I will do better,

Borders can make a huge difference to the size as well, even a 6 inch border all the way around let alone more than one border can add an awful lot to the size.

So my strips are together, now to find the fabric for my border, I can't come close to the purple and here are some greens, I only have enough of the one to do much in the way of borders though, and looking at them I am really not happy with them either, hmmmm, this will be interesting, I don't have anything in the way of the light either,
