Here's my top - I love it. It's very imperfect, but that's fine. It's soooooooo pretty and I'm going to keep it! Now I just need to quilt and bind it. More fun with the fabrics.

Thank you cutie for all your encouragement and help. Couldn't have done it without you and I've been wanting to do one of these!! You're a doll

Now I'm looking at it. Should I take out the extra extensions of the brown and green inner borders??? Duh...

I'm just sick about it. Now I think it looks lame. Talk me out of it ladies. That's what I get for putting the borders together first, instead of sewing them on one at a time. Grrrr....I want your serious opinions on this one. Do I take out two sections and redo them?

You all are doing great! I love them all. I think you all should send them to me so I can see them in person! I like the look esqmommy. I say leave it. Unless it really bugs you and in that case feel free to send it to me.

Sorry I was not around much today. My Internet is still having issues and if it goes into tomorrow we will be getting a new server.

Esqmommy that is just gorgeous! I love the way the colors play and it sparkles from the center! I wouldn't change the borders either unless they will irritate you every time you look at it. I like them.

Here I am...new to the board and no one knows me...but I do have an opinion...you love your OBW...and it is gorgeous...you think the borders take away from it and I agree. It won't be hard to remove the border extensions and make it perfect. If you don't, you'll always look at it and see it as a flaw...when it's a beautiful quilt...it's worth a little extra work to satisfy your inner artist...then, every time you look at it you'll be really glad you took the extra time.
