Thank you, I am having fun with this one. Here is the original fabric - who would have thought? I have enough left to use some for the back of the quilt and maybe even a narrow border in between two wider black borders. Well, first I guess I need to sew these blocks together. Getting ahead of myself. Wish I could work as fast as I get ideas. LOL
Thank you so much CB - don't think I would have tried this without all your great intructions and patience with all the questions.

Oh I wish I had done a black & white too! That is going to be beautiful!
Thanks for all the ideas ladies, as soon as my book gets here I will get started again. I like all the fire words! I will have to use that in the name if I can. I can't wait to get this one done so I can get back to mine. It's soft purple and green and I doing it with the octagons.

Thank you all very much for your comments. The name of the fabric is "lion eyes" Alexander Henry Fabrics Collection. When I purchased it they also had it in a brown/gold colorway - it was just as nice.

billswife I love your "hot" quilt. I agree with the other posters that purple would look awesome added for accent.
I think I love all the ones that have been posted. All so different and sooooo pretty. Didn't we have fun?
Thanks again CB.
