Started sewing them together today. Sew many seams!!!! Hard o sew through. But eventually they will be all together. Can't wait. Think I am going to do a dark purple inner border and then pink. Not sure yet.

Can hardly wait to see it. I found it just as difficult to iron it. But so worth the effort!

The seams are small until you have to put the strips together, I can't wait to see *jumping up and down in excitement*

I just got a call saying my Encore book, that I ordered last week, has not been shipped due to the fact that they want me to mail in my gift certificate first! Now why didn't they tell me this on the phone when I placed the order? So my quilt is still laid out on the living room floor. Hope we don't have company this week!

Hi. Everyone's quilts are so, so , so, beautiful.I love all the colors. I have my strips half sewn and tonight I notice one piece in a block is wrong. Now I am debating if I should take it out or leave it. I will sleep on it and decide tomorrow.

Hi buffy - I've done this more than once, and left it! You really can't spot it in the finished quilt. Or you could make it a puzzle - challenge ppl to find it! :-D

Well here is mine. DH and DD did most of the arranging if the blocks in the end , they got the fun job, and I had to sew it all together LOL. I am still tossing up whether or not it needs another black border?????
I love these and will definately make another one, the only thing I didn't like is pressing the seams open, but I'm glad I did as it made sewing it all together so much easier.
Next question though is how do you quilt it?? I've only ever done SITD. All suggestions gratefully accepted.
We are going on holidays for 2 weeks so I will do that when I come back.
Thank you again Cutebuns, I will never look at fabric the same way again.
I love how everyone elses are turning out. They are fabulous! who would think that the fabrics chosen would turn into such spectacular quilts.

Woody, I agree, everyone's is coming out so beautifully! I will also do more. Maybe I will keep some cut by my computer along with the 1.5" blocks for leaders and enders.

Woody that's beautiful! If it was me, I would add a further black border to give more of a frame. You asked about quilting, I always do just a wide meander over mine - anything more intricate IMO isn't really worth it as it doesn't show and you don't want to detract from that beautiful pattern. You did an awesome job with the cubes too BTW!
