I took some of the kits that I had purchased ages ago and decided to sew them up for practice units on Free Motion. I watched a video from one site that I had purchased and it showed doing the Free Motion on a 12 inch sandwich, no seams. I figured ok even though the kits were missing pieces, I ended up grabbing from my stash to make the block, or pieces were cut too small etc. they will still work overall for practice.

Good idea. I made a scrappy doll quilt and am going to practice FMQ.
