Love the way you put it, Jan - it's so true.

And Luana, I've always said that if women were in charge, there wouldn't be wars and so much hurt in this world - when some macho men began beating on their chests and making nasty sounds, we'd make them go to their own room and do a time out until they calmed down. And send them to bed without supper if they couldn't behave!

Maybe we should teach them all to quilt, then they'd be able to take out their frustrations on the piece that won't lie down smooth, the seam that went wonky, etc., and they wouldn't have time to make trouble for others.

Saw this in email today from Stitchin Heaven: "We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box." Could apply to quilters and to quilts!

Love this! Sitting here sipping my morning tea and this was such a sweet thought to take into the day. Cheers!
