I feel you are over-thinking this. It really is okay; I promise people will be seeing the overall look of your quilt, not individual stitches of the piecing. (And if a quilt police shows up, remind them you have no prior 'history' and can walk away from them this time )
Try a gray thread, as DakotaMaid suggested, if you want to, but I've been quilting for over 30 years and have used an ecru thread for about 80% of all my piecing for all that time. I also use a looser stitch length that you have here.

Ditto on trying different color thread. But.....oftentimes I have patchwork that looks like this and it's all fine/not noticeble in the end. We're just so close to it while we're sewing that almost everything glares at us! And great job on your block.

A question for you. Do you set the seam before opening it up to press? I have found that this really makes a difference. Also, are you pressing it or ironing it back & forth? I never iron mine. I just press it with one swipe & then up & down motion. I never move it back & forth on the seam as this will cause the seam to separate just a hair. Although, after your quilt is finished & you wash it, all should fall back into place.
