that would be a lot of work to take it apart, save doing cornerstones on another project , the only people that know it was to have the cornerstones would be those of us that read this ,,,, and im not telling !!!!

I'm with those who think cornerstones wouldn't add anything.

    It's very nice as is.

You'd have to take it apart. It looks very pretty and completed. If you do want to add something maybe buttons where the corner stones would ahve been? I do not think it needs it though.

I agree. This is a beautiful top. Let the next one have the cornerstones.

I am a beginner as well, and that sounds just like something I would do. The quilt is beautiful though, so don't sweat it. You can do cornerstones next time.

It's absolutely gorgeous as it is! There's no rule about how to set a quilt, and my theory is "if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it" :)

when you quilt it, just sew 4 straight lines to make a square where the cornerstones would be. Voila - instant cornerstone without appliqueing.

Or leave it as it is. It looks great!

That is a great quilt and needs no cornerstones. You did a great job matching the sashing.

    Renee,

I think it looks great as it is. You did a great job. I feel it would look better with conerstones, but You don't need to rip it all apart but add them to a similar quilt if you make another.
