    Sounds like the quilters in your family believe in leaveing something for the future. Whe my GM passed her youngest made off with all of her quilts. We had so many memories as she was my best friend. She taught me to quilt at age 10. Maybe you can pass this art on to younger generations. Keep the flame going.

    Enjoyed your story! I have lots more tops than finished quilts, but hey, that's stock invested, right! Kept saying I was saving them till I got a frame, then hurt my back & haven't got to use it much, yet. But, back is doing great now, so hoping, as the snow begins to fly this winter & we are stuck at home, I will be busy at my frame & get some of them quilted! Something to look forward to, right!
