I place numbers on all my blocks to make sure everyone stays where they are suppose to be and I still end up making a mistake. GO FIGURE !! You caught it early enough!!

Do you live in my sewing room? I haven't decided if I can't read or can't count! Then I mis-count; cut more only to find out then I have too many!

I did do half square triangles put wrong one in. I also numbered the rows etc as I joined the squares, I had also put hole lot on the design wall.
Just don't know how it happened.

Dottymo, I love red and white quilts and am itching to start one. I wish you would post a pic of your entire quilt top. It looks beautiful from what I can see, but can't figure out what block you are using.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who puts in blocks backwards, upside down, etc. It seems I'm getting as good at "un-sewing" as I am at sewing! I empathize with you!

They are all half square triangles making a 4" block. Had to just do the centre of pattern as that was all I had in dark red . Found it on a google search and just improvised. .

Nice of you to share your boo-boo, that way I don't feel so stupid when I make what seems like a really simple mistake! It's going to be gorgeous when you are done!

Glad you fixed it. Very important for it to look like you want it to. I'm sure it will be beautiful when it is finished.
