I hate when I find the mistake after the quilt is done!

If that's the only mistake, I would be happy, especially since you found it before quilting. I was making a Sister's Choice quilt, cut all the white background strips so that they could be sub-cut, only to find that I had cut them finished size, and I didn't have enough to make many more strips, so I found another white on white print and I seriously doubt that anyone but me noticed. Stuff happens.

Glad you found your mistake and that is was easily fixable. Can't wait to see the finished quilt!

You are lucky there was only ONE!! I was doing Blanche Young's "Jamaica" - 37 different strip sets……all carefully labeled by number and top VS bottom………..had to un-sew at least 20 times on that one……..

So glad you found it when you did; although, the Amish intentionally quilt in an error because only God can make a perfect quilt. Love the Carpenter Star. I have one on my frame right now and am loving playing with the quilting of it.

Good job of correcting the error! I'm hoping you post the final quilt.
