Is this too soft?

I made something similar where I did not think it had enough 'pop' and thought it was too bland. What I did was add a small dark border then added a totally different fabric for the outside border. That outside border certainly gave the quilt a little more interest which was just what it needed. So, start looking for a outside border which would compliment the center section and add that little bit of spark which is needed. Good luck!

If you're not satisfied and think it needs a liitle punch would appliqueing a flower (yellow?) like a daffodil or single tulip in the lower right hand area (or any object of your choice) give it punch without losing the softness?

Dina, I usually do bright colored quilts myself but every once in a while, I need to tone it down somewhat. I love your colors here and it speaks to me though I'm a bright colored person. If it feels good to you, then it is good. Someone suggested adding a bit darker fabric maybe as a small border if you feel it needs a bit more contrast. I like what you did so much that its been added to my"TO DO" list.
