Total despair....have had enough

I love this board. So many good people that offer their advice and direction. I have a 6600P and have had problems with FMQ so I stopped using it for that. Pretty expensive machine for just piecing. Now I am going to try FMQ with the feed dogs up. Thanks

To fix the problem you have to put the feed dogs up before you turn your machine off. Then when you turn it on again you make one reg. stitch then drop the feed dogs and start quilting.
This has worked for me for the last 2 years and I've quilted about 20 quilts since then with no problem. Try it. Hope it works for you too. Bonnie

The reason I haven't gone back to the dealer is that I bought it second hand from a Husqvarna Viking dealer and don't think they would really know too much about it....and felt it was safer that they didn't mess with it.

Sorry about the confusion.
P.S. I have NEVER adjusted the bobbin tension. It's been just fine, no matter what thread I'm using in the bobbin or on top.
