    Default Totally bummed now...

I went down to visit my grandma a few weeks ago and am just finishing unpacking everything, lol... She had given me a baby quilt that was mine that she had saved when my mother tried to throw it out. It was made by my grandma on my father's side (I've never met anyone from that side of my family). It was all hand sewn and hand appliqued and even hand quilted! It was in desperate need of restoration and I was going to take a picture and ask for your opinions on what to do and I just realized that I left it there! :-( I'm hoping she will mail it to me as I probably won't get a chance to visit her again since she is moving to Arizona...

Oh, I hope she sends it to you and you're able to fix it. What a precious family memento.

Since she wanted you to have it, I am sure she will be more than happy to mail it to you. I would let her know right away that you have forgotten it though.

Be sure to share when you get it - would love to see it.

I am soooo glad that all you did was leave it there. After reading about how it was handstitched and from your Dad's side of the family and how important it was to you, I thought you were going to say that you lost it or it was destroyed. So, call your Grandmother and ask her to mail it to you. Make sure she knows how much you cherish it and just forgot it. You don't want her to think it wasn't important to you.

Please call her right away and explain what happened. I am sure she will mail it to you, once she knows how much you will cherish it.
