A friend gave me directions to make a tote bag pattern using six fat quarters and lining, but the instructions aren't very clear on making the elastic casing. Are any of you familiar with that pattern that could maybe forward me better instructions? I'm stuck.

What's the name of the bag? Or do you have a picture?

The name of the pattern on the sheet she gave me is Jumbo Fat Quarter Bag. I don't have a picture at all. That would have made this easier.

I tried google and couldn't find that pattern. Is there any markings to say who designed the pattern ? Or maybe give us a sample of what is confusing you and we can try and help

The person who shared the information just wrote it up for me so I don't have the source information. It's kind of you to try to help. Thanks.

You may be referring to the hobo bag by M'liss Rae Hawley.
This is off the top of my head, I think the name is right.

She has 2 books on fat quarter quilts, and it's in book # 1.

I got it in the Library. Hope this is a help to you.

Is it just me and my warped senses or does anyone else think that she looks like Sarah Palin?
