If you have an Iphone, download the Quilters Club of America (QCA) app. It will show all the quilt shops in the area -- whereever you are. Caution -- just phone ahead to make sure the shop is still open. You will have a great time in Big "D."

Here is a bit of trivia about Wicked. I heard the author of the book speak some years ago and he told how he came to write it. He said he was living in London and trying to become a writer but couldn't get a focus other than the wicked men of WWII. But then he remembered having to watch Wizard of Oz every year as a child and remembered the line when the twi withes met and the wicked said to Gilda "I might have known you were here" and then began to think along the lines of why two people who were raised the same and one turn out good and the other bad. That became the book and the later follow-up books.

[QUOTE=mom-6;6002766]You might want to check out Golden d'Or on Harry Hines in Dallas.

then continue North on Harry hines a few blocks to perth street. On the corner is Best Fabrics, then down Perth(west) There are several more on Perth. Most close early on Sat if open at all. Wear comfortable shoes and have fun!

On Wicked, please do NOT compare the play to the book. The book is heavy on sex and not good. The playwright did a fantastic job of making a very good musical that is very family oriented and teaches a good lesson. It is wonderful and great. Don't bother with the book! Of course, that is my opinion!
