My DH has a question for the treadlers here. Is it easier to FMQ on a treadle or an electric machine? Or is there a difference?

    Thanks.

I find it easier to keep the speed constant with an electric machine, especially if it has a start/stop button.

I made a dress on a treadle when I was about 20. It was hard to keep the stitches the same length. That girl was amazing! Think I will stick with electric!

I would think it would depend on whether you can keep a steady momentum going...like the gal in the video :D:D:D
I can't believe that she could do that intricate work with the presser foot in her line of sight....
