    I knew that basket had a date of 1984 before I even read it! That was the year my DD was born and it was a gift from my sister who was a Longaberger rep at the time.

    What an amazing basket, even painted, it's still pretty and very practical - hide your sewing projects out of the way, especially if you have curious cats. My cat has a quilt that she likes to lie down on, but I may want to take it back and use it for me again.

    That's a good pattern set! I bought it back in the 1960s to do Hawaiian quilting. Congrads on your great finds. It always pays to look and looking doesn't cost much.

    Everything looks great! I like the basket. I used to collect the Longaberger bears.
