I went to a show and saw this cloth. I don't really know what it is but it looked like a possible quilt to me. I guess they use it as a thow?

It comes from India and has the tree of life Screen Printed on a medium weight cotten. I thought it was beautiful. I washed it to make sure it didn't run and then quilted it.

I didn't bind it. I just turned the edges over and hemmed it like it was.

Thank you Ladies. It reminded me of the painted Batiks that you use for the center of a quilt. I could have put some blocks around it but it was quite large by itself and I didn't want to the extra blocks lol. It measures about 85x95.

I used to have the tree of life on my waterbed as a teenager ;-) Thanks for the memory. You did a nice job.
