    Default tri rec block size

Hi! I am making a quilt with the tri rec ruler. I am making the triangle in a square with 2 inch strips. The pattern does not say how big my block should be but I am assuming (and I did a test run)that I end up with a 2 inch block. Can anyone confirm this for me? This would be the size of just the triangle in a square

A 2 inch strip I think will give you a 1 1/2 in square. If you want a 2 inch finished, go w/ 2 1/2 inch strip. If you're using templates, they measurements are on the templates/rulers. I bought some at JoAnn's w/ 50% coupon and they weren't that expensive.
