oh you made terrible choices! I suggest you send all that to me and start over! I haven't been to Joann's very often or in a while , I didn't know they had such pretty fabrics.

I really love the colors. My only concern would be the 2 blacks. Both of them are really black, so if you're putting them next to each other, you might lose part of the pattern, since it may not be as clear that the fabrics are shifted up, it might blend a little too much.

    ROFLMAO!!!!

Guess what i did?! well, they are all sewed together..the strips, and i mixed them up...BUT if i had read the direction, i would of known,NOT to cut them Width of fabric, that this pattern calls for them to be cut the other way...good grief! (so you have
6-sheets" of strips sewn) So, out of this, i had to go buy a little more,1/4 yard of 3 of the fabrics, and will end up with 2 Trip around the worlds! That will teach me to Assume ...

you arrange however you like! for example you might go from light to dark/ or alternate light /dark/ you can repeat some rows/ just whatever. kyou know a really dark quilt would be so old timey looking. and you can quilt it with dark thread for a cool look, it all depends on your preference. I did a quilt in shades of red,hot pink, coral, burgandy, beige, and black. with beige muslin for backing. and my quilting looked so unique in black dthread.
