    Default trouble feel my pain

Today while I was piecing I must of somehow got the cord to my foot peddle wound around my roll around sewing chair. I was just getting up when I heard a big thump my sewing machine ended up on my cement floor. At that point just took a deep breath and went into other room, Aprox. 30 minutes later I went back and picked up my machine the bobbin cover flew off, the light wouldnt come on and of course the machine wont work anymore. i had been trying to save up for an embroidery machine now it looks like I will have to buy a replacement for my regular machine with what little I have saved. I should of know better and should of been more careful.
Funeral services for my Brother machine are pending.

I am really sorry to read about your loss. Was it an older machine? It might be fixable. Even not, a dealer might take it in on trade just to get the parts.

    Oh, no!

Well, at least you have a sense of humor. Your last line made me laugh.

Sorry for your trouble and painful heart....I have similar things and wonder when my children will haul me to the nursing home. I backed into my garage door before it was compiltely up!! Scratched the trunk, popped the rollers off the track and put a few dents in the door. My SNL just shakes his head and proceeds to fix!

I'm assuming that in lieu of flowers you are requesting memorials gifts to be sent where?

So sorry to hear about your trouble. Can you go to a dealer of some different brands and see if there is a sewing/embroidery machine combo that will fit in your budget.
