Sounds to me like you have a lot of issues, sit back breath, relax, it will all work out in time. Now throw the patternt out and create your own quilts. Follow the pictures they work great and if they don't use pictures do something else. I have decided that I really enjoy doing my own thing with out patterns or directions and just enjoy the process, if you don't like it rip it out and do something else.

I don't trust that a fabric that I love will still be there the next time I visit the store.

But I have learned to trust that there will always be more fabric to buy, just as good if not better than the "one that got away"

Sometimes I don't trust a fabric to play nicely with others, and sometimes they don't and I have to buy more...poor me. Oh wait! Maybe I just wanted the naughty fabric for my stash...yea me!

My cup is half full ....I don't have trust issues.......if things aren't what I hope them to be I just work around it. No point in getting in a tiz over something that in the greater scheme of things isn't really that important .

I think you and I have been I the "been burnt" maybe once.... maybe more than once , but enough so we proceed with caution, and use our experiences to guide us.

Pretty much what Lori S. said.

I have had enough "bad" experiences with fabric to do "preventive maintenance" before cutting it - and with patterns and templates to know that sometimes they do not fit together "as printed."

I have a lot more confidence in myself now than when I started. Once upon a time - if it did not fit together properly - I thought it was me that had goofed - now - it may or may not be me - I check the patterns now! Sometimes it IS the pattern that is off!

I trust that eventually I will figure out a way to make it work, no matter how different it is from my original plan!
