Default Trying to identify 2 quilt patterns that I made several years ago.

I'm new here, but, I cannot for the life of me remember the names of these 2 quilts that I had made 20 years ago.
I would like to make them again. For my Goddaughter, and her new husband.

A sad set of circumstances surrounds the reason I don't have the templates anymore, etc.
Any help that you can give would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that it’s the Mexican Star by Eleanor Burns or very similar. If I remember correctly she has a free download on her website. Hopefully that’s it or close enough to get you where you need to go. She also had a video on You Tube making that block. Good luck.

I'd agree with Arianna and say the second one is Mexican Star, but which I made before Eleanor ever had a show or books I'd look as a traditional pattern, I most likely got it from a book of Ruby McKim designs (newspaper patterns).

The other name will come to me -- but I know I had and used that butterfly fabric!

The pieced blocks in the first quilt are Country Roads. The block also goes by the name of Buffalo Ridge. The pieced blocks in the second quilt go by either Mexican Cross or Mexican Star.
