Default trying to line up a visit in CA with a quilt show. Can anyone help?

My mother just moved to Santa Paula, CA. Santa Paula is about one hour NW of Los Angeles along the coast line near Ventura. Anyone know of any good quilt shows coming up this year so that I can plan my visit along with a show? If is requires us to travel a few hours to get to that would be fine too. Thank you for your help. I have been searching on line, but I don't know CA well enough to determine where most of the shows are and which ones are worth the traveling, etc.

San Diego Quilt Show is September 5-7. The site is down so I can't get more info.

The San Diego Quilt Show is held in the Convention Center, down town San Diego. There is public transportation so you don't have to stay next to it. It is Also right next to PetCo Park, so if you are lucky and like baseball, you may be able to take in a game.

You just missed the Road to California Show which is held in January - that is the largest quilt show in Southern California - it is held in Ontario, CA. I love that show - it is like the 3rd week in January.

The Pacific International Quilt Show is held in Santa Clara every October. Here is the link - http://www.quiltfest.com/activities.asp?id=7
I have attended for the past 5 years and am so inspired. It is in the Bay Area, but a nice road trip for you and your mom. You could drive and enjoy our lovely coastline.
