I know this has been talked about alot, but I just made my first tube block. My question is, how many blocks do you get out of one tube? I only got 2 and thought I was supposed to get 3. Thanks for the help.

I have not done them yet, but I imagine it is how bit the block is that you made, the bigger the block and how accurate that you cut with play a part in how many pieces you get out of it, how big are they?

Did you use a long enough piece of fabric? I think these were being cut across the width of fabric.

I used the width of the fabric and I got 2 1/2 blocks. Kacy

I made three tubes... used 3 fat quarters... on the background fabric I had to join some of the material but it is hardly noticeable... that is not counting the backing or binding.
