They should label this technique with a "Warning this technique is addictive" sign. I started with one "just for fun". Three
quilts later, I'm still loving it! Have fun (and I am sure that you will!)

I have made several of these. There is a specialty ruler and patterns book for this method. They are pretty easy and the results are stunning

Thanks for the link. I made a string quilt using this technique a number of years ago. It goes really fast and it's simple to do...Love the results as well. Be sure to post a pic of your quilt top when you're finished with it.

Funny, I'm working on that same quilt... Love Missouri Star Quilt Company ideas. I love the table runner too. Now... to look for some Holiday fabric....

I just finished this quilt for my granddaughter's 16th birthday. I modified the layout by adding sashings and the outer border is a piano key type border. Loved the look of it. BTW, my granddaughter absolutely loves her quilt and, of course, that made grandma very happy...ya never know what will be a hit with teenagers. It was a lot of fun to make and easy.

I have done this method before but done for string piecing. I will have to try it this way to get the "boxed" effect. It was easy and quick just what you need for this time of year.

I really enjoyed the tutorial and saved it to my Quilting file. I will for sure use this method for a future quilt.

I think the colors in that quilt in the video are especially wonderful, but I have a problem with the fact that the blocks have no seam allowance and so all the points on the larger squares will be lopped when it is sewn.

Default Picture - I tested and LOVE it!

This is a very fun pattern. I actually broke open an out of print jelly roll to make this... I am please with the blocks so far...
