    i do all of my tumbling blocks by hand- y-seams and all-
    visit paperpieces.com to see them- they also offer FREE design sheets you can print off ==then you use colored pencils to color the sheets and design your quilts. :thumbup:

    Glad I could help a little. :) I got confused too at first, because the names are so close.

    This is the Tumbler close up. No Y seams

    I love this.. but I'd get so dizzy just piecing and quilting it!!!

    I think some of the old tumblers did have Y seams. These newer ones are cut in 1/2 tumblers and can be sewn in strips :D:D:D

    sorry- i misread- thought tumbling blocks- not tumblers...no y seams for that one--well you could-but ...
    i think i should try a tumbler next.

    I use the Tumbler die for my Go more than any other one. I cut all my larger scraps into tumblers. I need to get the smaller size tumbler die for the small scrap pieces. It's so quick to sew a tumbler quilt and fun making all different layouts.
