    Default Tumbling Blocks

I would like to make a tumbling block quilt. I would like to know what the sizes of the blocks should be. I also would like to make the blocks bigger because I would like to embroider pictures of birds and bird houses in the blocks. Is it possible to enlarge them?

I would think that you could make the blocks any size you wanted as long as you kept the correct angle!

There may be confusion with the pattern in question: "Tumbling Blocks" or "Tumblers"? Either way, you can make the blocks any size you want as long as there's consistency in cutting and piecing the templates.

Tumbling blocks are made with 60 degree diamond shapes. You need 3 diamonds for a "block" You can make the 60 degree diamonds any size you want. The embroidery sounds nice.
