Question for everyone. I am getting ready to make or attempt to make the Aurora Borealis Twist & Turn Bargello Quilt by Eileen Wright. My question is the finished size is only 41 1/4 by 57 1/2, how do I make it bigger so it won't be out of proportion? Thanks for everyone that will answer this question.

In that case you can mutilply the cutting dimensions by 1.5 or what ever suits you to get to the final size for example if the final size was 50 inches and you want 75 multiply by 1.5 , that would hold true for all of the cutting the cutting of the strip to the cutting of the sewn strip sets.
    Do you need further info?

USing the current dimentions of the quilt 41 X 57 if you use a multiplier of 1.5 you will end up with a quilt 61 X 85. If you use a multiplier of 1.75 you will end up with a quilt 72 X 100 ( give or take a 1/2 inch).
You would do the same for purchasing the fabric if it calls for one yard you need 1X 1.75= 1 3/4 yd.
It is easier once you start to cut the strip sets to make a copy of the strip set cutting chart and write the modifed cutting each one to the new dimension so you do not make a mistake of cutting one set or row to the original size ( ask me how I know ....!).

hmmmm ok if that is what you do. Gosh I sure wish I was better at all of this. LOL Maybe I will just keep it the size it is, sounds much better and not as complicated. DH will just have to settle.
