Twister Christmas tree pattern
I would like to attempt a Christmas tree twister table topper. does anyone know if there is a free pattern on line? I have not been very successful in finding one. Lots of pictures. I will purchase one when I get to a town with a LQS if I don't find one. I have lots of Christmas fabrics left from 10 min table runners. You have always been so wonderful to help me out so know someone will be able to help me this time.

Tartan, thank you so much for your wisdom and willingness to share it. You have helped me with each of the questions i have asked and even those I never asked but thought about! Is there a way to determine the finished size after cutting the twister blocks. If I would have been smart enough, I would have measured the last blocks from my first quilt.

Fabric lover, That is a beautiful twister quilt! I think if I look close enough I can figure out the layout. I will look at a few more pictures too. Looks like there's no pattern on the net. I will get my brain going tomorrow after church while my hubby is away deer hunting. Good time to drag out all my stuff and just sew, eat and sleet.!!!

Below are two links, one shows a simple twister laid out ready to cut (I may have in wrong order)....the other shows the quilt. I remember that a year or so ago, we posted quite a few versions worked up by board members....Good luck, it's really fun!

I just found a couple of links that were actually on the quilting board--including one I drew up. These layouts make it easy.
