I have two batik fabrics that I really really like. they are the same colors, but one is a lighter medium shade and the other is dark. They are purples which is my favorite. But I can't come up with a pattern I really like for just two colors. I don't want something really complicated, nor something very simple and would prefer not to add any more fabrics. any suggestions on what blocks/patterns would be good for just two fabrics?
    Thanks!!!

I'm doing a d4p with lots of colors but can see how it would look with just two--stunning! I agree with David, go for it.

Irish Chain? It would look nice and the batiks would give it a modern twist on an old favorite!

Snail's Trail will work with 2 colors.

What about just straight pinwheels... Or that 10-minute block...?

This pattern from Quilter's Cache works well with 2 colors.

Pinwheel is my favorite block, but if the shades are close, you might not have enough contrast for you to really see that they are pinwheels.
