I'm going to look that one up. Thanks. I have found that looking for 2 colors often produces only pictures of 2 fabrics, which is a very different look. I'm not that good at looking at a high-contrast quilt and imagining it in various shades of the given colors. It can be very frustrating.

Eleanor Burns "Night and Day" or it may be "Day and Night" is a good two color Star quilt.

I, unfortunately, don't have a good picture, but Quilts, Quilts and More Quilts (the sequel to Quilts, Quilts, Quilts) includes a quilt called "Interlocked Squares". I think it's interesting enough that it wouldn't look "cute" even with pinks. I, unfortunately, couldn't find a made up quilt in the pattern on the internet that includes only 2 fabrics. Someone made a multi-fabric version here: http://www.epainke.privat.t-online.de/pailq9.htm

This is a VERY easy quilt but looks amazing. I made it up in a rainbow print with a black, and it was great. The book I mentioned is a classic and is probably available in most, if not all libraries.

How about a drunkards path... - Missouri Star Quilt Co has an online video tutorial that shows a quick easy way to make a drunkards path quilt using only two colors. I think it would look wonderful.

Annie's Choice would certainly be appropriate! I've just googled it and it's a pretty block. Hmm..

I hadn't heard of the Burgoyne Surround, so have just looked at some pictures, and I like it. I could even go up to 3 colours...
