    Default Two different fabric binding.

I thought I seen a post about using two different fabrics for binding. I believe one was 2 1/2 and the other maybe 2 in. Sewn together so that when put on as binding one side would have two different color binding. Does anybody know where that was. I have a quilt I would love to try it one. Thanks

If you are talking about different colors on each side of the quilt, this is a good explanation http://www.instructables.com/id/Two-Tone-Quilt-Binding/

I have done this once, it turned out great. I have also done binding where it was different colors on the front side. The quilt was a landscape quilt and I wanted the binding where the sky was to be blue and the binding below to be green because of trees. Hope this makes sense!

I think you are talking about what QuiltinNan gave you the link on. It sounds like you mean the binding with a flange. It works great and is lovely.
