I have my center and just need to put on the borders. It was fun and I am planning to make one more. Part of the trick is using an ombre or gradated fabric. I actually used one of the batik handprints instead of an ombre. It looks great.

    Here are several options: http://www.susieweaverquilts.com/patterns.html ,http://www.quiltnbee.biz/shop/New-Ar...-x12811258.htm, https://www.superiorthreads.com/shop...-susie-weaver/, http://www.nancysnotions.com/product...ilt+pattern.do.

Or you could probably ask your LQS to order it for you.

I'm confused too, because I see the ombre black thru white that includes the grays, then I see a gray print, and then the teal accent color. That's 3 to me, not counting her sanity labels.

I have this pattern but have not made it yet. I have talked to Susie and she is wonderful. She is very accessible and fun to talk to also! She will be more than willing to answer your questions.

Again, I sewed it in the form of a tube and then cut apart.

    Hello,
I am Hedi from Germany and was looking in the www to find more information about the "two fabric bargello quilt" and found this post.

My question: can you tell me a little more about how you enlarged this bargello quilt to a queen size quilt and how you worked it in a tube? I saw the video and it looks like it is a lot of measuring.

Thank you so much for your answer

    Hedi

Geez, a little clarification would have been good!

The original pattern was published showing 2 fabrics; an ombre and a coordinating print. However, the video shows the maker using 3 fabrics; an ombre, a coordinating print, and a contrasting print. Both versions are lovely.
