I want to make a 2 color quilt in the Hearts and Gizzards pattern. It's also called the Dutch Windmill. It is a traditional pattern and I want to make in red and white repo fabrics. Search it out and see if it's something you would be interested in. Some applique and piecing.

Those I have thought of and one is very light floral and the other is a light beige.

Thanks so much. I love your saying at the bottom of your note.

I looked at the carpenter wheel and it would be difficult for me to do that with two colors.

Seems that with a light floral and a light beige you won't have much contrast and possibly lose some depth in whichever pattern you choose. Perhaps you could pull the darkest color from your floral or use a dark neutral for contrast. I'd love to see what you wind up doing. :-)

I have made this quilt twice and it is perfect for two contrasting fabrics. If you are interested in the pattern? Just shot me a pm and I can give you all the particulars.
