I'm looking for a pattern with only two different colored fabrics. Something that would showcase the piecing, maybe something more intricate. This will be my 10th quilt, just started three and a half years ago.

    So far I have made:
    basic 4" square block quilt
    a kit quilt http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-116553-1.htm#3042540
    a modified log cabin http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-114707-1.htm
    cottage lane http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-116190-1.htm
    turning twenty http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-116556-1.htm
    card trick http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-116554-1.htm#3042558
    scrap paddlewheel http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-114692-1.htm
currently working on a block of the month http://www.thimbleberries.com/pages?id=139&nav=8
    also working on a 9-patch

Somewhere on this board, someone posted a picture of a quilt made from 3 colors. It looked like sand at the bottom, ocean in the middle and the top looked like the sky. It was gorgeous. Maybe someone on the board will remember it and post another picture. It is more than 2 colors but 3 colors is good to. Good luck in your venture.

If you like paper piecing, here's a few suggestions. Look through the rest of the blocks at http://www.quilterscache.com for some more ideas.

Do a Google image search of two color quilts. Pick one you like and find the pattern. There are thousands of choices and lots of books with the patterns. Looking is half the fun!

You do beautiful work. Are you sure your friends aren't getting married just to get a quilt? So many weddings!
