brushandthimble; Your Medallion quilt is absolutely gorgeous!!! The charity baby quilts are very nice, too. But, oh, that Medallion quilt is just SOOOO nice!

So jump in! The water is warm - and finishing UFOs seems more fun when there are others to cheer you on!

This one has been lurking in my closet for over a year. It is the first quilt I made when I started quilting again. I had taken a 4 year hiatus to have my twins. This is their memory quilt made up of their preemie outfits. I messed up the binding and put the quilt away for year. I was so disgusted I couldn't finish it. But then with some help from friends on this board I discovered a new way to complete the binding. Finally it is finished.

Twins are definitely a good reason to need to set aside quilting for awhile. Congratulations on finishing the baby quilt! I love the richness of the blue and that little sailboat is too cute.

What fun that must have been to use the baby clothes to make the quilt! You did a wonderful job on it.

Is there a prize for finishing the oldest UFO? In the great sewing room cleanup, I found a quilt as you go I started before I got married - that would be at least 24 years ago! I finished 15 out of 30 blocks (peach and light blue, what was I thinking?). Trouble is, it was hand quilting and I don't do that anymore since I figured out how to machine quilt. Might sit there for another 24 years!
