FMQ stands for free motion quilting. It's good to ask questions. We all started out asking questions.

Thanks for the info...first time I ever looked at live chat was here, and first time ever heard of DH for dear husband, etc. See, how you folks are educating me?
Just a simple idea, but passing along...since your quilt is a log cabin, I've seen some VERY pretty log cabins with simple ties...Loved one with all differing shades of "tobacco" (brown with yellow undertones) tied with turkey-red embroidery thread. Hey, it sounds too simple...but it really worked (for me anyway).

Well, the ufo has been finished for a week or so but I am just now learning how to download a pic of it. Well, here it is, I hope. I've decided to have it quilted by a friend.

It's really simple and easy. Georgia Bonesteel has a pattern that makes it easier than any other I tried.l

Alright, I know that it is more then halfway through the year but I'm totally joining. I have an embroidery calendar i was suppose to have finished for Christmas and 2 quilts to finish up as well. I'm really looking forward to jumping back into my projects.

I thought I would get this topic started back up again and maybe inspire a few of "us" to finish a UFO. I am still working on a few things. The log cabin is off to the quilters. Anyone else finished anything.
