Just dropped in to see what is going on here. Seeing the finnished UFOs is very inspiring. I definitely need to come back. I have a small mountain of UFOs. It would be great to have the support of this board.
A question.Did anything ever amount of people trading UFOs or are we all get to bogged down with our own load of UFOs?
Hope to check in later this week. My goal for this week is to pick my UFO I want to finnish. LOL got to start slowley.

I have 2 UFOs by these criteria...
One is a full sized quilt I have basted and ready to quilt, but am just not all that excited about. It sits on the shelf in my closet all rolled up wondering what it did to deserve such a punishment.
The other is a similarly sized full-sized quilt top that I love (I intend for it to be my daughter's quilt when she upgrades from her current toddler bed), but because it's so big, I'm intimidated by the thought of trying to quilt it on my home machine.
I'm going to submit the poor quilt that has been languishing in my closet just wishing that someone cared enough about it to finish the job and make it whole. Now that I have completely anthropromophized it, I feel pretty guilty about putting it in this position! Depending on how the quilting goes with it, I'll decide if I can tackle the quilt I actually care about, or if I just need to suck it up and pay to have a professional LAQ it for me.

I've got one I used to call "my OJ Simpson quilt" or my 92 Olympics quilt",cause that's when I started it! I made my own templates out of cardboard--remember those? So the joints aren't the best to say the least. But it was for me and I soon had others to make for giving/donating. But when I do get to it I thought I'd use some fancy emboidery to hide the imperfections.

here's my April UFO. Yes I know that i'm way behind, but even if I only get a few done, I'm still ahead of the game! this one was started way back when i first started quilting. my borders are a little wavy and i didn't know how to quilt it. well now I've quilted it and i don't really like it. I think this one will go ON the galloping horse!!! oh well, at least it's finished.

How long did it take you to quilt this? I have a habit of doodling during meetings and my doodles have concentric designs like your quilting...I can't imagine how long that took to do in a quilt! I certainly haven't had the courage to try quilting like that yet in my own quilts (I consider myself a newbie still), but you're inspiring me to give it a shot and go outside my comfort zone. Perhaps with a doll-sized quilt!
