UFO of the Month Club
#1
So this is not an original idea, and hopefully has not been done yet for this year. If it has, I'm sorry and hopefully admin will delete.
What if those of us who have UFO's (can't be too many of us, right? lol) challenge ourselves to finish one a month. Doesn't matter how old, how big or small, or what it is, but let's get these completed and move on to the next project! My UFO for this month is the My Blue Heaven by Bonnie Hunter. I need to get the top done because the pieces have been sitting in a box waiting for almost a year!
How about you? What will you try to finish?

Our guilt guild has this goal as its challenge this year. We are all suppose to finish at least one before the June meeting and some are aiming for one a month. I just finished mine and it has been sitting since 1993 when the store went out of business. I had the top finished and it was basted ready to quilt. Why didn't I finish it? I guess I just liked piecing a whole lot better than actual quilting. Since I got my Janome 6500 five years ago, I am slowing getting the quilting part caught up but I still have many completed tops to quilt. I think this is a great challenge and we all need a little encouragement sometimes to just get it done!

I have almost finished a quilt begun by by mil years ago- needs binding :) I also finished 2 small cross stitch pics that had been stashed for a long time. I just need to make them into a picture, pillow or wall hanging. I also started a huge rag basket but need to wrap more clothesline to complete. I did finish a table runner from Christmas but I feel good about getting this far along. I began Jan 1st :)

Yep! two projects in two months still averages out to one a month.
I guess there was a thread already started about this before, so I'm going to jump on that bandwagon since they were first! Up North posted the link above.
Thanks Ladies!!!!!!!!!!
