I like your deadline. It's been mines for a while now. I have finished 3 UFOs in the last 6 months. I always have something come up that strays me away from my UFOs. I'm taking the summer off to focus on my UFOs. Nothing else can creep on my plate until it's clean. :hunf:

I decided this year to "try" to complete the pieces that I have pieced -- they are done -- not quilted or bound. I've finished 2 to this point -- got 2 more. I came to this decision since I really like making the tops & then remembered a new friend showed me her quilting -- it was all pieced items -- nothing finished. (maybe 20 pieces dating back to the 1980's) I decided to make a New Year's resolution this year; I didn't want what she had. (I'm 3-4 years into quilting) So although I've got lots of things I've accumulated & a new lap quilt cut out -- nothing is going to continue until I've got everything that's been pieced has been finished. It's hard; but, I don't want lots of tops like my new quilting friend.

i signed up for the 2010 ufo challenge: Jan.-done; Feb.-done March-marched right by and it's now a double UFO!LOL. but in my defense, i've made a couple of baby quilts(3) and a queen top in the same amount of time and created 2 more UFOs. I've also been trying to get my fabric organized on boards and clean and organize my sewing room. when i'm not doing that, i'm at our cottage painting. when the rooms are painted, i can take my machine there and maybe get some of these UFOs finished.

I have been cleaning up my UFO's. Last week I took 6 to the quilter (going to have to keep working to support my local quilter) and have been finishing up a large log cabin quilt to use up some of my stash. I have a quilting retreat coming up in August and know there will be something I will want to start and fabric that I will want to purchase.
So, I'm in. Only have about 8-10 UFO's going (that I will admit to.)
