Default UFO Update and Craft Show Results

I posted several times about UFOs I was completing for two craft shows. I was took quilts and small projects, such as aprons, pot holders, and receiving blankets.

I completed 18 UFOs and sold 4 of them. I sold several of the smaller, less expensive, items and took orders for quilts and pot holders. I was very excited.

I think the best thing about this experience is seeing how many of those UFOs I can complete in a short time and is really an encouragement to get busy on the other 20 or 30 that are in the flimsy stage.

Congratulations! Wonderful that you finished some stuff, even better that you could sell it! Very encouraging.

I must warn you about the orders you took. Please be careful, get some of the money up front. My experience has been that after the show excitement wears off people change their mind. I would hate to hear that you got a quilt finished and the person who ordered it wouldn't pay for it. Just be careful. Sounds like you did pretty well at the craft show.

Good for you to sell some quilts. I would have told them they would have to pick from the quilts there. Since you still have 12 quilts that didn't sell and other items. I could not make more and maybe have to store them too.
