Lord girl I don't think I can be offended. No worries. It is shocking though. The southern one is more shocking then the other one. Check it out:

 Well ladies I'm glad I'm not the only one with my mind in the gutter. I just about chocked when I saw that fabric as well. Too bad my MIL died because I would have LOVED to make her a warm and cuddly quilt with that fabric.

well, everyone has their own opinion, and it's still a free country, but for me, there's joking, and being naughty, and then there's, what I saw on that link.
It is offensive to me, especially the southern one. I don't need images like that to educate my children and grandchildren about the cruelties of history. That hurts MY feelings.
As for the second one,...I don't blame Joann's for not wanting that magazine in their store. People might have bought it, unsuspecting, and then wanted their money back,...or worse.
We have adult book stores, so that belongs in an adult fabric store. Everything in it's place, for those that would like to purchase it. I can see the art in it, but I won't put one on my couch, for my grandbabies to see it, lol!

I have a subscription to Quilter's Home. I will not renew it. Not because of the gross quilt but because I think the magazine is a load of crap. I have been very disappointed in the magazine as a whole. I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Some things should be left to museums. Can you imagine what our granny's would say. Mine would call them blue. She use to say Redd Foxx made blue records. That is what they called them at the time. The flag one is pure hatred to everyone. Do they sell the wiener fabric in Playboy or Penthouse?
