Yes, it's busy, but it's certainly not ugly!! I think you will like it alot more once its quilted. I agree with others here, don't use sashing. Perhaps some bold borders or muslin colored borders like Grandma58 recommended!

    I don't think it's ugly....and I would probably use a light color beige sashing.

Thanks for posting the picture. I think it would look nice with a quiet, lighter colored sashing amd/or borders. I think a bright or dark border would be too strong for the blocks you have shown.

Your blocks are beautiful. The sash and border will really make the colors in the blocks pop.

I think its neat. Its not ugly. Its kind of "busy" but thats what I think makes a scrap quilt interesting!

I agree no sashing. I also see a secondary pattern forming where the blocks join. Keep going I don't think it is ugly either.
    I like this idea.

Your blocks are nice, if you add a dark narrow sashing around them, they will pop

I would add a neutral color sashing to help break up the blocks.

An Ugly Quilt? No-no-no. I see tulips all over that quilt. It is a work of art. Where your heart leads you, you may cause a masterpiece to happen.
