    directional prints are the hardest to work with and create waste in many instances, so i immediately disregard those. i also like a large and small print within the same group. i don't care for panels. that leaves me with with this:

    in the Sister collection, i liked 22154 11 to go with 22156 11.
    in the Spain collection , 27089 11, to go with 27089 21 and
    27085 11.
    in the Elegance collection, 32531 11, with 325 30 15.
    in the Batiks, 42040 26 with 42040 30. (not xmas-y}
    in the Natural collection,19469 19 with 19462.
    in the Wonderland collection, 23097 13 with 23095 13*.

    do you have to order a complete line of whatever you choose or can you pick parts of each collection? some of the fabrics don't read as christmas at all. and some don't have coordinating large and small patterns.

    all in all, imo, Elegance is the most versatile because it has the large and small and blender patterns, non-directional. it 's also the most grownup of the xmas-y patterns (kids novelties are easy to find). it's exactly what it's supposed to be.

    I agree with some of the others, the last 3 are my favorites. You can never go wrong with batiks!!

    By the way... you certainly can print off the pages and take them in to your LQS and ask them if they've ordered the ones you're interested in! I'm sure they wouldn't mind receiving advice either.

    Thank you all!

    I didn't see anything I didn't like, but I love the batiks the best, I would definitely consider buying something from all collections.

    So much to choose from , but the winners for me are: Elegance, Believe Batiks and Nature's gift. The colors on these choices are the most vibrant to me. Good luck choosing.
