well I had ordered from harbor friaght and they canceled my order of blades because it didn't meet there dollar amount for back orders. which is fine. found a local store and went yesterday. was looking and looking. (can't see the forest for the trees syndrome) asked a worker bee where they would be found and the young lady said that they sold the last pack a week ago and that they were discontinued. I asked her why they were discontinued when they were still carrying the cutters. She then admitted that she wasn't sure but was just guessing because the warehouse that they get them out of was out of them. So she concluded that they were discontinued. I was going to tell her that that is not what being out of something means. But it did make me wonder if she was right. I hope not, but plan on emailing corporate. just to make sure. I did however buy a cutter. (hubby thought it was for him   )
Has anyone else had the store tell them that it was being discontinued?

What will the carpet layers do without them??? My guess is that the quilters saw a good deal, took advantage of it and ran 'em dry. I'll bet the blades will be back soon (and probably cost more).

THe HF I went to this week was out, but the girl stocking shelves at the time said they would be there later in the day. Did get a couple of those suction handles though. A large one,6.99, and a small one for $2.00. It will be great on the smaller square rulers. HUbby wouldn"t let me look around very lonng, afraid I'd find something else!LOL

I am behind the times. Are you saying we can get rotary cutting blades from Harbor Freight?

Yes for a lot of the 45mm rotary cutters. Types that take blades like Olfa. I don't know what other brands.
