Unique ways to display your finished quilts

If you have a quilt that has damage you could do what we did. Mom found a bear's paw quilt at a yard sale and it had wear areas. I took it and made long pillow cases out of it and she put them on the cushions on her porch swing. She left the ends long and just let them hang over one end.
I have an old ladder painted white I use sometimes to hang mine on.
I used a lap size quilt I made as a kitchen curtain. I just hung it at the window as you would on the wall and then just drew it to one side with a sash when I wanted to open the window. This window faces north and gets little sunlight on it.

Some on the spare bedroom bed. Another over the sofa back, two on a quilt rack, although I love the idea sent by dakotamaid, I saw the pattern and it sure looks great. My minature quilts are on both sides of the walls leading to my sewing room.

My dear Sis gave me this armoire she no longer had space for and it has become my favorite way to store my quilts and extra supplies. I get lots of compliments on it. I love to have them 'out' where I can grab one to hang on the wall or cover myself with as I watch TV.
I had the glass replaced with UV glass

My DH and I found an old piece of wrought iron painted fence top (like they put on top of a brick wall - really OLD), and leaned it against the wall. My quilts are draped over the rungs of that, plus I have a wrought iron quilt rack that I put my antique quilts on. Don't forget to rotate and refold your quilts occasionally to keep from getting possibly permanent marks on them, plus possible fading from light in the room. Then, we also have some draped on the furniture, because they do get used.

Here is how I'm going to do as soon as it warms up so we can work in the shop.
